Happiness is when you share a table with bunch of fellow bloggers over lunch on a lazy Sunday. I was delighted when I got an invite to have a taste of authentic Italian Cuisines with food enthusiasts and bloggers from different genres at Italiano in Cyber Hub, Gurgaon. Italiano restaurant is considered as one of the top Italian restaurants in Delhi/NCR for its authentic Italian cuisines. The restaurant experiments with a wide range of ingredients, flavours and dishes to bring out much loved culinary delights. It celebrates the love for Italian cuisine and bring a taste of Italy to local plates.
As the scheduled time was 3 pm, I made a conscious effort to be there on time to have a lively conversation before we ended up hoging the delicious Italian treat. I was welcomed by my host . Soon I was joined by fellow bloggers . I love connecting with new set of people who are from different backgrounds and doing unique things . Interestingly the dot that connects all of us together is our passion to do what we love to do.
Well, soon welcome drink was served at the table. I must tell you that “Fresh pomegranate basil dream” drink was as refreshing as it sounds. After a good start with the drink, we were joined by the owner Sanjiv Puri and his lovely wife. As we stroked the conversation, Mr.Puri was sharing the story behind Italiano restaurant and how it got started with a small outlet at Nathupur DLF City Phase III in 2002. He informed us that within a span of few years, Italiano outlet in Nathupur became hugely popular among various celebrities and corporate groups for its most authentic and yet delicious Italian cuisines. Italiano is not limited to only traditional Pizza and Pasta, rather Italiano menu offers best of Italian cuisines like Spaghetti Napolitaine, Lasange al forno in stuffed Pastas and not to forget Stufato De Agnello Con Patate in the main course.
In the meantime, I grabbed a piece of Tomato Bruschetta with Virgin Mary. It was great to have the conversation with Mr Puri who is not only an ebullient restaurateur himself, but a passionate gentleman whose love for Italian Cuisines was so much vibrant in his talks.
During the conversation, we were served with Veg and Non Veg Platter which looked absolutely mouth-watering. I would strongly recommend to try these platters at least once whenever one visits Italiano.
After a few minutes, I tasted Ginger Prawn Salad and Panzenella veg Salad which took me by surprise as it was one of the best salads I had in recent time.
I also enjoyed their Penne Arrabiatta pasta, Lasagna Catalize, and Pizza Primevera Picante.
These cuisines were equally flavourful and delicious.
The Italian treat can’t be completed without dessert. So we finally ended our beautiful Italian lunch with Tiramisu and spongy and silky Cheese Cake.
If you are looking for an authentic Italian treat in town, you should visit Italiano for an unforgettable dining experience with variety of Italian cuisines to your delight.
