Borobudur is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Located on the island of Java, this temple gives you a panoramic view of gorgeous green valleys and the towering hills. Lake Toba

Lake Toba is the largest volcanic lake in the world. This lake was formed by a gigantic volcanic eruption around 70,000 years ago, which is said to be the largest and deepest volcanic crater lake in the world.  Lake Toba is more like a sea considering its size. Therefore, this lake is considered as the largest lake in Southeast Asia and the second largest in the world after Lake Victoria in Africa. This lake has an island called Samosir which is the cultural hub of the Batak tribe. So, if you want to unwind and longing for a relaxing holiday experience, visit to Toba Lake is a must.

If you are in Indonesia, do not miss out the majestic Mt Bromo at Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. The captivating view of sunrise over Mount Bromo is simply breathtaking. Make sure that you are on time. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park covers around 800 square kilometer area in the centre of East Java.This active volcano sight is the largest volcanic region in the province.

Baliem Valley

Baliem valley is the most famous and accessible destination in Papua. It was Richard Archbold, the first outsider to discover this valley in 1938. Mr. Richard noticed the valley which was situated between four thousand meter high mountains while leading an expedition team. The valley was dotted with terraced green fields of sweet potatoes. Famously known for Dani tribes, Baliem valley is a land of splendid secrets. Though with time, Dani people have civilized a lot if you compare them to ancient times, but you can still see those unlikely customs, rituals and their authentic tradition there.This indigenous tribe is considered as the most adorning tribe in West Papua. Visiting the Baliem Valley and trekking through High Mountain and Dani villages, takes you far away from modern civilization but it is worth it.

Bandung

Bandung is the shopping destination of Java. Popularly known as the Paris of Java, Bandung is famous for a number of company outlets. Apart from this, you will be delighted with the spectacular landscapes, the gorgeous tea plantations, volcanoes, and Kawah Putih – the turquoise sulfur lake.  Komodo National Park

You can’t miss the opportunity to visit Komodo National Park when you are in Indonesia. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has the most fascinating creature on earth: Komodo dragon. This is the largest lizard in the world. Komodo National Park includes three major islands named Komodo, Rinca and Padar, and numerous smaller islands as well. Interestingly,the Komodo dragon is only found on these islands in the world.
