Getting an invitation to be a part of the Culinary event was actually a ticket to a great gastronomical affair of a unique kind. It was an extravaganza of a different sort. Here’s a peep into some of the dishes that stood out and grabbed eyeballs and palate and also left me desiring for more. I absolutely relished hot appetizers like Kebbe, Rekakat and Sambousek.

The food consisted of an exciting range of delectable Lebanese and Armenian cuisines. The feast offered a scrumptious culinary treasure of mouth-watering dishes coupled with Cocktails to satisfy the connoisseurs of fine taste.

The cuisines reflect the history and traditions of Lebanon and Armenia while the flavors rely on the freshness of the ingredients used by the Master Chef. A wide range of cold appetizers like Hummus, Moutable, Mouhammara, Fattoush, Tabbouleh, Patatvadz salad, Each Salad left me yearning for more.

The main course included dishes like Ghapama, Fishne Kebabe, Rez a dejai & Ishkana. Among them, my absolute favorite is Ghapama, which is a traditional Armenian stuffed pumpkin dish, mostly prepared during the Christmas season.

This is quite an interesting dish, prepared by removing the guts of the pumpkin and stuffing the pumpkin with boiled rice and a variety of dry fruits like chopped almonds, apple, cornel, apricot, plums, dates, and raisins. Then the pumpkin is baked until it becomes soft. Traditionally, they bring the whole baked pumpkin to the table and it gets cut into pieces and then served to the guests. Deserts like, Gata, T’arm Mrger, Sari Bourma, Gatnabour, Chocolate Gololag, etc., definitely satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth.

This food extravaganza is on till 26th November and given the nip in the air, the time is just perfect to visit this place with family and friends to have an awesome experience. Go for it!
