These Stunning Maldives Pictures Will Compel You To Pack Your Bags

Sometimes words can’t justify the beauty of a place. For that matter, pictures also fail occasionally, until and unless you experience compelling destinations like Maldives, where everything seems picture perfect. With an unending horizon of the turquoise water, floating speed boats, white beaches, swaying palm trees, rich marine life, and luxurious beach resorts and villas, Maldives spoils you with its exotic location.

It has more than 1,192 coral islands, out of which only 192 islands are inhabited by people. Gorgeously located amidst the Indian Ocean, the atolls look like a green dot in the turquoise playground from the top. I still remember the moment I sat on the speed boat, which took approximately 25 minutes from the Male International Airport to my designated beach resort.

I never expected to go through those layers of emotions when I looked around and saw vaguely visible water villas from a distance. It appeared as if a painting had come alive. As the boat was speeding towards the beach, I was holding my breath tight to experience something unparalleled. It was my first beach country and I could not thank enough my stars for bringing me to this natural paradise.

It was completely a different world once I landed at the beach resort. From swanky water villas, diverse choice of restaurants and bars, vibrant live entertainment, hosted social events, lots of adventure activities to themed beach parties, the upscale luxury resorts exceed your expectations. Kurumba Maldives is one of the noted resort in this regard. Mostly known as the paradise for honeymooners, Maldives is one destination which can’t be tangled with a stereotype tag.

Anyone from newlywed couples, friends, large corporate groups, to families with children, Maldives has much to offer to everyone. Whether you want to laze around, doing nothing but sunbathing on the sand, dive into the blue lagoons, parasailing, scuba diving, relishing the freshly grilled fish at one of the specialty restaurants or sitting quietly watching the last rays of the sun, painting the sky orange in the evening, Maldives gives you abundant opportunities to create some priceless moments to take back home.

Maldives is a double-edged sword. I’d love to go, don’t get me wrong. But the islands may soon disappear under the rising ocean and visiting may just compound the root cause. Sigh.

Maldives looks beautiful! It’s gotten so popular recently, I feel like so many people are going there now. We almost went but then decided to do the less popular Cooks Islands instead next month. Can’t wait to see how it compares!

Nice write up on Maldives with beautiful pictures of blue waters. Sea planes are used to carry passengers from airport to cottages in resort is really worth trying. Sunset cruise I would never miss as I love sunsets a lot. Dolphins are also worth watching.

Well, surely this is just paradise on earth! I’ve never been there, and unless I win the lottery, or ever get married and go on honeymoon, I don’t think I ever will 🙁 I’ve heard it’s pretty expensive in Maldives resorts, was the Kurumba expensive, or reasonable in price?

I aim to visit every country in the world and that means I’ll visit the Maldives. Your pictures of Maldives are stunning, I can imagine arriving and taking the sea plane to my resort from Male. A fruity cocktail with the stunning view of the beach and ocean go hand in hand too.

Absolutely gorgeous pictures and very well written. I’m not much for beach destinations anymore as we have covered most of the Caribbean Isles on this side of the world. But the water color and those white sandy beaches OMG…just dreamy. Now I want to go 🙂
