There is a visa on arrival in Indonesia for Indian citizens and it is absolutely free. It is only viable only if you are travelling for less than 30 days. Please not that this visa is not extendable.

This is the most visited and photographed temple in Bali. Located on the top of a rock formation, this Hindu temple is one of the most sacred of all the island’s sea temples for the Balinese people. Mount Batur

Even if you are not into hiking and trekking, you can still experience it at your own pace. Though it is a moderate trek, but one needs to be prepared to hike in the dark to reach the summit before sunrise to see how it feels to see the rising sun up there. Good hiking shoes, waterproof gear, extra water and some snacks are important to carry on the trek. If possible, also carry a headlamp as it helps immensely in the dark, though you will be provided flashlight by your guide. It takes around 2 hours to reach the top. It entirely will depend on your speed. The alluring beauty of the Mount Batur with the gorgeous sunrise can make you forget the pain you took to trek completely. You will be mesmerized by everything up there.

The Nusa Islands

If you are someone who prefers to be in a peaceful environment, far away from the chaotic and crowded part of Bali, the Nusa Islands are the perfect destination for your slow-paced holidays in Bali. Amongst the three islands, Nusa Lembongan is the most famous, located about 20 kilometers offshore from Sanur. The island is easily accessible by the speedboat.
