Pura Tanah Lot
The Pura Tanah Lot is a hugely popular attraction in Bali. It draws tourists to this place due to its spectacular location and the unmissable sunset. Another attraction in Bali is the famous Mount Batur. Located in Kintamani District in Bali’s central highlands, the active volcano site is famous for its breathtaking sunrise. Visitors and tourists trek up the 1,700-meter summit of Mount Batur to watch the sun rise. The hike in the dark towards the Mount Batur Summit is nothing less than an adventure in itself. Even if you are not into hiking and trekking, you can still experience it at your own pace. Though it is a moderate trek, but one needs to be prepared to hike in the dark to reach the summit before sunrise to see how it feels to see the rising sun up there. Good hiking shoes, waterproof gear, extra water and some snacks are important to carry on the trek. If possible, also carry a headlamp as it helps immensely in the dark, though you will be provided flashlight by your guide. It takes around 2 hours to reach the top. It entirely will depend on your speed. The alluring beauty of the Mount Batur with the gorgeous sunrise can make you forget the pain you took to trek completely. You will be mesmerized by everything up there.
The Nusa Islands
If you are someone who prefers to be in a peaceful environment, far away from the chaotic and crowded part of Bali, the Nusa Islands are the perfect destination for your slow-paced holidays in Bali. Amongst the three islands, Nusa Lembongan is the most famous, located about 20 kilometers offshore from Sanur. The island is easily accessible by the speedboat. The adventure junkie in you would like to go for surfing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and paddle boarding there. Also, don’t forget to visit the beautiful Dream Beach, Mushroom Bay, and the Devil’s Tears rock outcrop. Nusa Lembongan is famous for its seaweed farms and you can see the locals harvesting it by the shore. Ulun Danu Temple

Located at the edge of Baratan Lake in Bedugul, the temple complex of Ulun Danu Temple consists of four sacred buildings. You should take the time to explore the different shrines in Ulun Danu Temple. Each temple is dedicated to a different God. The style of the building follows the Trimurti belief. Don’t forget to explore the surroundings of this floating temple and also the intricate carvings and elaborate architectural style in the temple complex.
