This post is about my staycation experience in ELIZA ROOM at The Imperial New Delhi.
How often have you come across an entire wing of any luxury hotel that is dedicated to single women travelers? How many of the renowned luxury hotels are giving extra importance to single lady guests? Probably only a few, globally.

Being a globetrotter, I live my life out of a suitcase. Endless flights, numerous itineraries, multiple check-ins are part of my lifestyle. I have been experiencing uber-luxurious stays in some of the most high-end hotels across the globe.
Whether it is the late-night check-ins, early check-outs, in-room assistance, or other essential services, there are hardly any special treatments given to the women travelers. For every demand, you are supposed to go through the regular protocols.

Additionally, the crime rate against women travelers across the globe is one of the major concerns currently. Safety is the primary concern and the topmost priority when you travel solo. Despite taking all safety measures, sometimes you face unimaginable situations. In that scenario, your accommodation option in any destination is very crucial.

The Imperial Hotel in New Delhi is the iconic hotel from the Pre-Independence era that stands tall when it comes to giving importance to women travelers. From hassle-free check-in process, 24*7-woman assistance, indulging in signature Spa and Salon treatments to relishing the delectable cuisine, my staycation experience at “The Single Lady Corridor” was exceptional.

INTRODUCING ELIZA, A SPECIAL FACILITY FOR SINGLE LADY TRAVELLERS AT THE IMPERIAL
The special program named “ELIZA” is designed especially for single lady travelers. It offers some uniquely designed privileges coupled with the unmatched Imperial experience, the moment you check in. They call it “A Single Lady Corridor” where 12 rooms are dedicated to hosting the women voyagers to provide a distinct staycation. It associates with extreme comfort, total convenience, and care, prioritizing utmost safety.
This is the need of the hour. The way they have designed the entire program keeping in mind everything concerning the essentials is quite commendable. The process is effortless where the lady guest is assisted by a woman associate, beginning from check-in to escorting to the room.
Most importantly, the lady guests are given intimate space to celebrate their time. Whether you want to just laze around, need assistance in deciding the food menu, indulge in beauty treatments like Spa and Salon sessions, or just a quiet holiday, the women guests under the ELIZA program get to experience everything in their fashion.

WHAT I LOVED THE MOST ABOUT ELIZA ROOMS
Numerous aspects floored me during my stay at the “Single Lady Corridor” at the Imperial Hotel. I was dazzled by the extravagant facilities which are part of the program. Find out what I loved about my staycation in the ELIZA ROOM at the Imperial Hotel.
INTIMATE SPACE
After long hours of flights, back-to-back meetings or just to take a break from mundane routine life, you need some solitude. What better way than to book ELIZA ROOM to indulge in lavishness where you can celebrate your intimate space the way you want.
Whether you want to sit languidly on the armchair, reading your favorite book, listening to your favorite music, or watching a series on Netflix, you can do whatever suits you to uplift your mood.
The staycation at The Imperial, in the “Single Lady Corridor,” is just the perfect space for solo travelers. It allows you to spend time with yourself. What I loved the most about the intimate space is how it just rejuvenated me instantly. It also helps you to shift your focus from multiple things to you solely.
A stay at a historic hotel like The Imperial also allows you to turn a few pages of history. Even if you don’t wish to step out, taking a walk in their regal corridors lets you be part of the poignant history, colonial elegance, and rich Indian heritage in a dignified manner.
The Imperial is also the repository of art. Each floor of the hotel is dedicated to a legendary artist and the corridors are adorned with the esteem art collection. The Imperial proudly displays a priceless art collection of the ‘British Art on India.’ No wonder why the Imperial Hotel is called “The Museum Hotel”.
ONLY LADY STAFF ASSISTANCE
One of the highlights of the “Single Lady Corridor” is that they have only lady assistance around the clock. Whether it is escorting you, the housekeeping staff, or the butlers, you will be assisted by women staff throughout. I was quite overwhelmed when my dinner was brought by a lady butler at night. Not just that, all my calls were answered by the women staff of the hotel.
I found this facility quite a well-thought initiative. It makes the travelers feel quite comfortable. The hesitance and uneasiness are easily withdrawn when you are given a woman assistant throughout your stay. Also, it makes communication quite smooth. Eliza program also offers a special airport pick-up facility wherein a lady associate escorts the guest.
SAFETY IS PRIORITY
The ELIZA program is designed in prioritizing women’s safety. They have CCTV cameras all around. The best part of the safety measure is that the rooms also have a LED screen where you can watch the movements outside your room as well. Another highlight of the “Single Lady Corridor” is that men are not allowed. In the case of any emergency, if men need to be there, there is always a lady to assist.
ADDITIONAL LUXURIES
When you enroll in the ELIZA program, it comes with a bundle of unmatched luxuries. Apart from staying in the regal room, you can indulge in Spa and Salon sessions like Imperial Release Massage OR Imperial Enlightenment for 60 minutes, Imperial Luxury Manicure OR Pedicure for 30 minutes once during the stay, and complimentary access to Hydrotherapy, Steam, Sauna, Jacuzzi, etc.
You can also avail of 20 % discounts on Food and Soft beverage, Spa, and Salon services. In addition, access to the Health Club and Swimming Pool is also given.
AESTHETICS AND DÉCOR OF ELIZA ROOMS
The ELIZA rooms celebrate opulence and elegance. The vintage furniture, art pieces on the walls, soft lighting, linen curtains, large windows, and other pleasurable amenities make the guests satiate in luxury.
Moreover, the ‘feminine touch’ is given subtly. The upholstery, towels, and even bathing robe are designed and colored in soft shades of pink. If you prefer fresh flowers in your room, you can also ask for your choice of flowers.
What drew my attention is the emblem of The Imperial hotel which is embroidered on the duvet. I loved the fact that they have taken care of the tiniest details in the most delicate way.
It just shows how the ELIZA program has taken the staycation to a different level, especially focusing on a single lady’s requirements and needs. It makes you feel at home the moment you step in.
