It feels great when you are invited to be a part of the 10th Anniversary Celebrations of one of the top Restaurants in town called Veda. Situated in the heart of New Delhi, Veda is known for its fine dining experience in an artistically designed royal set up. In a world dominated by fast food and global cuisines, the charm of feasting on authentic Indian cuisine amidst a breathtaking exotic Maharaja style ambience is simply alluring. It was an extravaganza of a different sort.
As I entered Veda, I was bowled over by the ambiance and décor of the restaurant. The interiors reflected the flamboyant style of the renowned designer, Mr. Rohit Bal. It had a slight touch of European influence with ornate mirrors across the four walls of the restaurant. However the similarity ended there once we started tasting the food.
Here’s a peep into some of the dishes that stood out and grabbed eyeballs and palate.
The restaurant offered a scrumptious culinary treasure of mouth-watering dishes coupled with Mocktails and Cocktails to satisfy the connoisseurs of fine taste.
While Asparagus Shorba, a soup served in kullador earthenware was heart-warming, the Pudine Mutter Ki Galouti with Philadelphia Cheese left me yearning for more.
Heard of oxygen facials but a dish bearing an exclusive name like Nitrogen Palak Patta Chaat with frozen yogurt left me kind of thoughtful.
It is meant for those who wish to pump up their health or maybe one of you have the answer. Do share!
Blooming Onion or simply put “pyaz ka pakora” had a somehow Zen look with its lotus like form.
Murg Malai Tikka Fondue with melted Cheese was absolutely sinful, while Litchi ki tehri had a Rabri taste and was the perfect ending to my lavish dinner and definitely satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth.
