Munnar

The beautiful tea gardens of Munnar will leave you entranced, and the once-in-twelve-years bloom of Neelakurinji flowers makes it all the more mesmerizing. The best places to visit at Munnar are the Tata Tea Museum, Eravikulam National Park, and Mattupetty Dam. You can stay at the pretty KTDC Tea County for a serene experience with an enthralling view.

 Ponmudi

If you’re a traveller who loves winding roadways and twisting meadows, Ponmudi is the place for you. Also, it is a perfect place for a romantic getaway due to its assortment of colourful butterflies and enticing mountain trails coupled with vibrant flowers and lush trees. Ponmudi is everything a retreat means, and it’s an experience one can’t overlook. You can sit back and relax at Golden Valley, take a dip in River Kallar, trail through Meenmutty Waterfalls, and visit the Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary for an adrenaline filled adventure. Idukki

Idukki is the richest when it comes to natural beauty in Kerala, and this tiny hill station is everything one could ever asks for .If you are someone who loves to have a vacation that has everything to do with nature, you must never miss the chance of going to this beautiful hill station. October to February is the perfect time to visit, and the most famous attraction of Idukki is its Wildlife Sanctuary, followed by the Idukki Arch Dam, which is known as world’s second greatest arch dam, and then retreat to some mountain climbing at Kalyanathandu. The Green Berg resort is the perfect place to stay when at Idukki.

Vagamon

Fancy some blood-pumping paragliding? Vagamon is the place to go. This exciting hill station is complete with extensive forests, deep waters, and hiking trails that are sure to leave you asking for more. Climb atop the Thangal Para hill, tread to Mundakayam Ghat for paragliding, and visit the country-side Kurisumala Dairy Farm as a cherry on top of your ideal trip. You can stay at the exotic Spice Garden Farm Resort as a natural hideout.

Silent Valley

This unusual yet thrilling hill station offers a separate level of vacation-happiness. Silent Valley is home to dense forests and an adventurous National Park that is filled with the rarest of species you will hardly be able to forget. Although the only attraction here is the Silent Valley National Park, if you’re a nature lover, who loves exploring the riveting wildlife of India, this is the place to be. There is nothing more exciting and adventurous as watching rare animals in their natural habitat amongst dense woods that consist of species like the lion-tailed macaw, hairy-winged bat, Malabar giant squirrel, Nilgiri langur etc. Travel in a jeep that will take you on an adventure of a lifetime through the extensive forests of Silent Valley. The Silent Valley Treetop Resort is closest to the National Park where you can also obtain Ayurvedic treatments.
