October to February is the perfect time to visit, and the most famous attraction of Idukki is its Wildlife Sanctuary, followed by the Idukki Arch Dam, which is known as world’s second greatest arch dam, and then retreat to some mountain climbing at Kalyanathandu. The Green Berg resort is the perfect place to stay when at Idukki.

    Silent Valley is more like a deep green forest than a hill station. Silent Valley National Park do offer guided trekking packages to roam inside the forestry
