The first look of the food spread at 1911 was simply stunning. I settled down and exchanged pleasantries with the other guests which slowly turned into fun conversations over a Tomato and Basil soup followed by some salad which had an amazing taste.
I had a fiesta sampling the Non-Vegetarian dishes consisting of Chicken, Lamb, Prawn, and Fish items. I would highly recommend the Lemon, poached chicken, and Shepherd’s pie which consists of Minced lamb, creamed mash potato, and parmesan gratin. The taste was super scrumptious.
I have a penchant for desserts and I could not wait to try them. Finally, it was time for some mouth-watering desserts. It was the Chef special, an assorted Dessert platter along with the French pastry – Macaroons, Eclairs, and millefeuille, the taste of which left an indelible mark.
