Satkosia Tiger Reserve, Odisha, India

The Sanctuary is a tiger reserve and is made of the Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuary and the Satkosia Gorge Wildlife Sanctuary. Situated in Odisha, it is among the lesser-known tiger sanctuaries in the country and carries a mix of deciduous and riverine forests. Spot mammals such as leopard, striped hyena, leopard cat, sloth bear, and the jungle cat. The Asian elephant is found in large numbers in the park, and some other species to sight include langurs, porcupines, sambar deer, barking deer and pangolins, and of course, the Indian giant squirrel.

The Kidepo Valley National Park is situated in a remote corner of Uganda and is the perfect spot for those who want to spot wildlife without any interference in South Africa.     I would like to may be advise on Kidepo Valley National Park, it’s found in Uganda – East Africa not South Africa as stated above.
