What I liked about the Business Class of Qatar Airways
The moment I arrived at the Qatar Airways counter at Delhi International Airport, I was taken care of quite well. I was accompanied by the airline staff towards the gate to making sure that I had a smooth transition and immigration check in. The airlines went an extra mile to give me an elite treatment. The act of courteousness and customer service certainly made a lasting impression on my mind as I was flying with Qatar Airlines for the very first time.

Flying business class with Qatar Airways is a treat. The excellent in-flight catering, top notch amenities, wide range of entertainment options, gourmet food & beverage selections and the warm hospitality has earned it the World’s Best Business Class reputation. The ambiance of the business class is quite elegant and classy. When all your needs are taken care of by the airways, it surely makes your trip a memorable one. The Qatar Airways know how to pamper the business class passengers. What absolutely floored me was the “Dine On-Demand-Menu”, which not only allows you the choice of food from the menu, but you can even decide the time of your meal. It simply gives time to indulge in your own things like writing, watching a movie, reading or sleeping. Everything is at your own convenience. The personal care of the passengers is another highlight of Qatar Airways. The crew members go extra miles to make sure of your comfort and convenience at the same time.

The noise cancelled headphones are a bliss when you indulge in watching your favorite show or a movie. What impressed me the most is their on air WiFi facilities. Being a Travel Blogger, I am always on the move and active on my Social Media platforms. The WiFi feature simply brings the world at my fingertips even at thousands of feet high in the sky. I find it quite an advanced and cool facility that gives you a hassle free user experience.

The hospitality of the crew members is commendable. As soon as I entered the aircraft, I was greeted with a smile by the crew member, who escorted me towards my seat and introduced herself. Making sure that I had a comfortable seat and if I required any more assistance, the dedicated crew member served me fresh lime water and a hot towel at the beginning. As the flight took off and the seat belt alert was put off, I was handed over the food & drink menu to choose a meal of my choice. Keeping a track of my meal, checking continuously my needs and making sure of my comfort level during the flight was laudable. From recommending the best food and wine to complement it from the menu, to serving food & drinks on demand, I was pretty impressed by their legendary hospitality. Qatar Airways take endless care to anticipate the needs of their passengers.

Being a frequent flyer, I generally don’t indulge too much in food that is offered in the flights. But I was surprised to have an array of food choices while flying business class of Qatar Airways. The separate menu for food and drink is quite commendable where you are given a wide variety of choices to select your preferred food from the menu.

I was quite impressed by the menu as it caters to Indian taste buds. The food was absolutely delicious, unlike other airlines food. I sampled three course meals and I can vouch for the taste.

The wide selections of beverages from different parts of the world also give you enough choice to choose from. In case if you get confused with the numerous options, you can ask the crew member to recommend you the best drink to compliment your lunch/dinner. Apart from that, I would recommend you to try the Kadak Chai (saffron/cardamom flavor).

It was absolutely delicious. Mouth-watering flavors, artful presentation, luxurious table linen and deluxe cutlery make dining with them an unforgettable experience.

There are 12 lounges spread across the terminal to cater to the passengers before or after their flights. Apart from that, with the capacity to handle 8,700 passengers per hour, the passengers experience hassle-free transfers under one roof which provides a great peace of mind. The airport also has moving sidewalks, buggies, and even a train inside for smooth and speedy transfer of passengers between the terminal and the gates.

It is not just about the in-flight services that make Qatar Airways World’s Best Airline of the Year for the fourth time in 2017, but the excellent ground services and the world class facilities which set them apart from other airlines. I was overwhelmed when a dedicated bus was provided to take us from the terminus to the airport at Hamad International Airport in Doha as soon as I landed. The Al Maha Services hostess was ready to welcome us and escorted me towards the lounge before I completed my immigration check in. After spending around half an hour, sampling some refreshment, I was accompanied towards the expedited immigration clearance at the Al Maha Arrival Lounge, which I find quite a privileged facility for passengers, especially when you are given immigration clearance exclusively. Not only this, the porter provides assistance for your luggage until you arrive at the hall.

What a great and detailed review. You definitely won me over. I’m a big fan of the ability to order your food when YOU want it and not during a regular meal service. I find I am often hungry when there is no food service and full when they’re serving haha. I also love the fact they give you noise-canceling headphones since I always travel with mine, I could lighten the load. I flew Qatar from Chicago, USA, to Perth, Australia, about 5 years ago. While I was pleased with the flight, I’m so jealous that I didn’t get to experience business class! I spent about 7 hours at the Doha airport, in the American Express lounge which was overcrowded and noisy. Your experience makes me want to take another Qatar flight and upgrade to business class. What a novel idea to pick your own meal times. And what great customer service too – their reputation is well-deserved!

Wow! I’m not sure what I fell in love with more, the seating pod that converts into a super comfortable bed or the dine on demand menu! It always throws me off when the airline meal time doesn’t coincide with my hunger and either I force myself to eat when I’m not hungry or I waste a perfectly decent meal so I would really appreciate this type of flexibility when I travel!
